Alicia has lived and worked in the Central Highlands since 1978. As co-owner of an irrigation business, she first joined CHRRUP at its inception in 1997 as the Food and Fibre sector representative. She has held a number of representative roles and board positions revolving around water, irrigation and resource management. Her agricultural background gives her a deep understanding of natural resource management matters and the need for users and stakeholders to find workable and balanced solutions.
Currently, Alicia owns and operates OmniBiz CQ, a consultancy/service based business that provides efficient and effective business solutions to her Queensland-wide clientele. She is experienced in community and stakeholder engagement particularly in natural resource management issues requiring clear consensus outcomes. In taking on the role of Independent Chair of CHRRUP, Alicia brings her passion and commitment to build a more resilient co-operative for all stakeholders.
Alicia is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
