Alicia Dunbar

Alicia has a strong passion for strengthening Queensland and Australia’s agricultural industry as evident by her long and continuous involvement in numerous rural and agricultural organisation, including Agforce, Cattlemen’s Union, Grain Growers happened.

She was the founding member of Fitzroy Basin Food and Fibre and industry body set up in the late 1990’s to service the needs of irrigators and water users of the Fitzroy Basin. Alicia married to Scott and they have four boys. Since leaving farming, Alicia has worked as a private agribusiness consultant before taking up the role of General Manager of Southern Cross Ag Exports; responsibilities include developing and administrating the Certification program and Standards which the company has built around Sustainable farming practices.

Alicia also is the National Coordinator for the Australian Sunflower Association, Director of a number of their family owned business as well as Company Secretary of Radicle Seeds Australia P/L working with senior management of this company to build and strength the internal systems and processes to sustain operations. In her spare time, she is the Independent Chair of CHRRUP the Central Highlands Regional Natural Resource Management group. She has a Diploma in Agribusiness, Rural Business Managment and Project Management.
