Anne Stünzner is the Project Manager for Growing Central Queensland (GCQ).
GCQ is an initiative that looks to understand what is needed to further grow agriculture in Central Queensland including new infrastructure, impediments to existing supply chains, and industry restructure. The project is auspiced by Regional Development Australia, and funded by the State Government and six local regional Councils. Anne has been a beef producer for twenty five years with a background in economics and law and is a Churchill Fellow in the field of Innovation.
Prior to this role Anne worked in forestry, biofuels and research and development. Anne was also a member of a National Board appointed by the Federal Government to write the rural research and development plan for Australia still being implemented today.
